Big Bend National Park

The agave or century plant sends out its huge flower display in the Chisos Mountains every summer. The crevices of Casa Grande Peak provide nesting sites for peregrine falcons.

Although on the Mexican side of the Rio Grande, the dominant Sierra Del Carmens are as much a part of Big bend National Park's desert scenery as the Tranquil Hot Springs Canyon located two miles upstream from Rio Grande Village. These classic limestone cliffs rise 5.000 feet above the Chihuahuan desert floor.

From my friend Keneth.
