The Jungfrau-Aletsch protected area (officially Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch) is located in south-western Switzerland. This mountainous region in the easternmost side of the Bernese Alps is the first World Natural Heritage site in the Alps and was inscribed in 2001. Region includes: Aletschhorn, Jungfrau, Mönch, Schreckhorn, Gross Fiescherhorn, Hinter Fiescherhorn, Grünhorn and Lauteraarhorn. On this postcard you can see peaks of Jungfrau and Mönch. From Sandra.
